Abstract

The author reflects on the importance of effective people management for the success of the Great Britain National Health Service (NHS) reform. She believes that the creation of a self-sustaining health system with safe and effective services, improved user experience, and innovative approaches to care requires effective management of people. Moreover, she mentions incentives that will drive improvements in health and social care.
