Abstract

Hopcalite based nano-materials were prepared by glycine assisted combustion method with different amounts of glycine. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared (IR) measurements display the structural properties of hopcalite solid including the crystallite size, lattice constant, unit cell volume, X-ray density, the distance between the reacting ions, ionic radii, bond lengths on tetrahedral and octahedral sites involved in the spinel structure and ionic configuration of hopcalite studied. © 2013 by ESG.
