Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh syllabic method terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas III di SDLB Negeri Sukorejo Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test-post test. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa 4 soal tes kinerja dan 2 soal tes tulis. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Data yang di analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon adalah data hasil pre-test dan post test. Hasil perhitungan melalui uji Wilcoxon dengan n = 5 pada taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh = 1, maka diterima dan ditolak, karena (0) ≤ (1) artinya hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Syllabic Method memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas III di SDLB Negeri Sukorejo Kota Blitar. Kata Kunci : Syllabic Method, Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan, Tunagrahita Ringan. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know how big the influence of syllabic method to reading ability of 3 rd grade student with light intelligent intellectual disability in SDLB Negeri Sukorejo Blitar. This research uses experimental research method with one group pre-test-post test. The data collected in this study were 4 performance test questions and 2 written test questions. Data analysis used in this study is Wilcoxon Test. The data in the analysis using Wilcoxon test is the data of pre-test and post test. The result of calculation through Wilcoxon test with n = 5 at significantlevel 0.05 obtained = 1, then accepted and rejected, because (0) ≤ (1) means the hypothesis proposed accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of Syllabic Method gives a significant influence on the reading ability of students of light intellectual disability of 3 rd grade students in SDLB Negeri Sukorejo Blitar.
