Abstract
The structural reforms of the education systems around the world, but especially in Latin America, obey to the productive restructuring of the economy from the crisis of the capitalist accumulation model. In 2006-2008, Colombia implemented a national pilot project for sexual and reproductive health education in primary and secondary schools in four cities. The aim of this investigation was to establish, analyze and evaluate the rationalities and conceptions about the context, the background and the pedagogical approach to sexual and reproductive health, gender and social class that characterize the project.
