Abstract

Metaverse is increasingly attracting the attention of scholars and practitioners seeking to understand its theoretical foundations and business implications better. This article provides an overview of what has been studied and researched in the academic analysis of the metaverse. It adopts a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis.
