Abstract

In December 1998, the NSW Department of Health released guidelines for the use of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) insituations of non-occupational exposure to HIV. This report summarises the first year’s results of the study that was instituted as part of these guidelines to monitor the use of PEP.
