Abstract
In this discussion, acyanotic congenital heart defects have been classified based on the physiologic load placed on the heart-lesions associated with volume overload and those associated with pressure overload. Featured are identification and management of common acyanotic congenital heart defects, from the perspective of the primary care provider. Recommendations for follow up with a cardiologist and exercise restriction are also been detailed.
