NOTAS SOBRE DEMOGRAFÍA ISLÁMICA EN MURCIA (SS. XII-XIII)

Abstract

RESUMEN Es el objeto de este trabajo la determinación de los efectivos demográficos de la comarca de Murcia en época musulmana, hacia los siglos XII y XIII. La población de la ciudad ha sido estimada mediante el análisis de los restos arqueológicos de las numerosas viviendas islámicas exhumados durante los últimos años. Para el cálculo demográfico de la huerta se han manejado los datos que sobre esta cuestión proporciona el principal documento de esa época con que contamos, el Libro de Repartimiento. ABSTRACT It is the object of this work the determination of the demographic cash of the district of Murcia in musulman era, toward it centuries XII and XIII. The population of the city has been estimated through the analysis of the archaeologic remains of the numerous islamic housings exhumed during the last years. For the demographic calculation of the irrigated land have been used the data that on this issue provides the principal document of that period with which we count, the Repartition Book.
