Abstract

Ground-state properties of even–even neutron-rich nuclei from proton drip-line to neutron drip-line for isotopic chains from 94Sn to 272Pb have been studied within axially deformed Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov (HFB) with the HFB9 Skyrme type effective nucleon–nucleon interaction. The calculated properties including binding energy, two-neutron separation energy, two-neutron shell gap, neutron, proton and charge radii, quadrupole deformation and neutron pairing gap were discussed and compared with available values of experimental data, finite range droplet macroscopic model, relativistic mean field and HFB based on D1S Gogny force.
