Abstract
The article explores what happened to the ebook revolution and why the publishing industry has stepped away from many of the opportunities digital offered. The opportunities and challenges that will be faced by the publishing industry in 2020 is mentioned. Based on the figures from the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and the Book Industry Study Group (BISG), consumer digital sales including audiobooks, downloads, and ebooks have increased.
