Abstract

The study aimed to examine the impact of a team sport match on the cognitive coding-decoding system and the psychomotor reaction time on university students. Twenty-one healthy university learners (average age = 21.5 ± .3 years) were administered the WAIS-IV scales and Leed Test psychomotors before and after a single bout of exercise. The exercise treatments consisted of a 5-min warm-up, a 5-min cooldown, and handball game for 20 min. The means were compared by ANOVA at the .05 significance level.
