Abstract

The article presents a key derived from data recorded in French Guiana as is hence not comprehensive. It covers only the main plant families together with their principal genera when not too numerous. In some cases, the species are cited, generally when they are associated with features that are unusual within the family. The key is based on vegetative morphological characters.
