New records for Turkey and contributions to the macrofungal diversity of Isparta Province

Abstract

This study was conducted on specimens of macrofungi collected from Isparta Province between 2005 and 2008; in addition, Trichophaea woolhopeia (Cooke & W. Phillips) Boud. is given as a new record from Muğla Province. After fieldwork and laboratory studies, 129 taxa belonging to 36 families and 2 divisions were identified from Isparta Province. Five of them, Cortinarius olidus J.E. Lange, Cystoderma jasonis (Cooke & Massee) Harmaja, Echinoderma echinaceum (J.E. Lange) Bon, Hebeloma gigaspermum Gröger & Zschiesch., and Psathyrella canoceps (Kauffman) A.H. Sm., are new records for Turkey.
