Abstract
The species of Guarea F.Allam. ex L. (Meliaceae) are revised. Sixty-nine species are recognised, a key to the species is provided, all names are typified and descriptions of all species are given. A phylogenetic analysis based on ITS sequence data is discussed. Six new species and one new subspecies are described.
