Abstract

The three-dimensional atom-probe microanalysis was performed to investigate Ru distributions around Re, Mo and W in the γ phase of a fifth-generation nickel-base single crystal superalloys. Ru-concentration-frequency distributions within Re-, Mo- and W-centered spheres of 100 atoms in the γ phase were analyzed. Any concentration deviation of Ru around Re, Mo and W were not detected under the condition employed in the present study. © 2007 The Japan Institute of Metals.
