A comparison of the measured and predicted dimensionless mean energy and the temperature dissipation rates is presented. It was shown that if the Kolmogorov and the Obukhov-Corrsin constants are assumed to depend on the flow and the Reynolds number, the two dissipation rates may be reconciled.
