La sociologie économique : genèse, actualité et évaluation

Abstract

Il est possible d’identifier une « sociologie générale de l’économie » et une « sociologie économique ». La première correspond à une sociologie du capitalisme comme système économique et social ou encore à ce que Weber appelait la « science de l’économie sociale » (die sozialökonomische Wisenschaft). La seconde, la sociologie économique, qui remonte également aux fondateurs de la sociologie, vise à rendre compte « des principaux faits identifiés par la science économique », mais en leur appliquant « une perspective radicalement différente et un type assez inédit d’analyse institutionnelle.It is possible to identify a "general sociology of the economy" and an "economic sociology". The first corresponds to a sociology of capitalism as an economic and social system or to what Weber called the "science of the social economy" (die sozialökonomische Wisenschaft). The second conception, economic sociology, also retains the general orientations of the founders of sociology, aiming at critically observing the principal facts identified by the economic science. But in doing so economic sociology works on a radically different and a rather new type of institutional analysis.
