Abstract

Nurse practitioners can play a critical role in minimizing vaccine-preventable diseases by keeping abreast of changes in immunization schedules and recommendations, minimizing barriers to immunizations, and advocating for children, adolescents and families. © 2011 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Inc.
