Abstract

The spinel ZnFe2O4 anode material has been garnering attention worldwide due to its unique energy storage properties. In this paper, the research progress of ZnFe2O4 anode materials for lithium ion batteries was reviewed. Accordingly, the structure morphology and synthesis techniques were first introduced in detail, and the modification strategies such as morphology control and carbon composite optimization were then summarized. Finally, future research prospects regarding ZnFe2O4 anode materials for lithium ion batteries were discussed.
