Curing patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer: An update on multimodality therapy

Abstract

Combining different treatment modalities - such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy - is often utilized to treat patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer. However, it remains controversial how best to combine these modalities to provide patients with the greatest chance of cure.
