Abstract

The present review article presents the available synthetic routes for the preparation of different types of imidazothiadiazines. The classification of imidazothiadiazines into seven types is based on the position of the linkage between the imidazole and the thiadiazine rings. This review is meant to be a guide for both synthetic and medicinal chemists to discover and design new imidazothiadiazine derivatives for medical purposes.
