Abstract

This commentary concerns a postgraduate education and traininginitiative within the pharmaceutical sciences with the purpose toinspire future course organizers. It reports on the experiences obtainedfrom preparing and evaluating two blended learning courses organizedunder the European Modular Education and Training Programme SafeSciMET.The blended courses included an eLearning part, followed by aface-to-face part of 2.5 days involving interactive case studies, and anexamination. The purpose was to reduce the time the students spent awayfrom work and home by 2 days. The feedback from the students andteachers is presented.
