Abstract
The characteristics, devices, methodology, applications and prospects of the solid phase extraction technique are reviewed with 83 references. It is emphasized that solid phase extraction is used for environmental and pharmaceutical analysis. And its applications in pharmaceutical analysis in recent years are summarized.
