Measurement of total protein and albumin in serum with a centrifugal analyzer

Abstract

The biuret reaction for total protein is done in the transfer disc, thus increasing analysis rate. Albumin is measured by the bromcresol green reaction. Precision of both methods is excellent and correlation studies demonstrate the validity of the procedures.
