Abstract

Control of epileptic seizures is not the only issue facing patients with epilepsy: they often suffer a range of comorbidities that affect quality of life as much as the seizures themselves. Dr Johnston explains how involving a wider multidisciplinary team of professionals in the management of patients with epilepsy can significantly improve patients' well-being and quality of life.
