Abstract

Rapid techniques, mostly antigen detection in serum and urine and histopathological identification of Histoplasma capsulatum in tissues, are the most important rapid diagnostic tests for histoplasmosis in immunosuppressed patients. © 2008 Wolters Kluwer Health | Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
