Application of Dolomite and P Fertilizers Doses on The Growth and Yield of Edamame Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill in Swampland

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the effect of application of dolomite and P fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of edamame soybean plants in swampland. The research was conducted from January to April 2022 in the experimental land of the Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Muara Bangkahulu District, Bengkulu City, with an elevation of ± 100 meters above sea level. This research used a factorial exsperiment with a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consists of two factor treatment and three replications. The factor that was dose of dolomite (D) which consists of four levels, namely 0 x al-dd (control), 0,5 x al-dd, 1 x al-dd,  1,5 x al-dd. The second factor with P fertilizer levels is 0 kg/ha (Control), 50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha and 150 kg/ha. The results of analysis of variance showed that interaction of dolomite doses and P fertilizer doses had not significant effect on the height of the plant, the number of leaves, the weight of header wet, the weight of root wet, the number of productive branch, the number of pods, the number of full pods, the weight of pods, the weight of hollow pods, the number of root nodule, and the weight of root nodule. The application dolomite doses showed that had significant effect on the number of pods and the weight of root nodule, but not for the other treatments. Apllication P fertilizer doses had no significant effect on the growth and yield of edamame soybeans plants on all the parameters of observation. There is no interaction between dolomite and P fertilizer doses on all the parameters in swampland. Keywords: dolomite, P fertilizer, soybean
