SWOT-analysis: Strategy of the organization to the strategy of personal growth

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of developing a personal growth strategy as a basis for achieving success in the upcoming professional activities. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to the SWOT analysis as a system-forming component of the developed strategy of the organization, a new approach to the interpretation of its results (decision matrix) is proposed. The existing methodology of SWOT-analysis involves the formulation of strategic decisions taking into account the forecast of opportunities and threats from the external environment and the lack of such in relation to the resource potential of the organization, i.e., the current state of potential (as a set of strengths and weaknesses of the organization) is taken into account. Presents a methodology of "inverse" of the SWOT-analysis involving the simulation of a desirable condition of the resource potential of the external environment from a strategic perspective with the purpose of formation of strategy of organizational changes and actions to create "friendly" the external environment for achievement of strategic goals. The possibilities of new approaches in the development of the strategy of personal growth of students, the implementation of which involves the presence of an educational environment that stimulates the formation of students' skills of teamwork and cooperation. Improving the efficiency of communication between all subjects of the educational process provides for a high level of formation of the empathic culture of carriers of "compressed" human experience – University teachers.
