Abstract

Kinetic sorption measurements have been made using highly sensitive automated vacuum microbalances of the yoke type with sensitivity 10-6-10-7 g for a load to 5 g. A method is proposed for describing the kinetic curves allowing for the relaxational nature of the processes using new relaxation nuclei. The kinetic sorption curves are well described by the relations hips obtained over their entire course. The physical constants of the sorption process have been found for free films and coatings based on epoxide resins. The influence of treating the support on the kinetic characteristics of the sorption process is analyzed. © 1990.
