Abstract

I've been giving a lot of thought to the concept of Design. Just what is Design anyway? In our field, Design might mean system design, interface design, industrial design, or graphic design. We read books like "Designing the User Interface," "The Art of Human-Computer Interface Design," and "The Design of Everyday Things." We talk about the process of design and some of us think of ourselves as designers. But what do we really mean by Design?
