Abstract
Hemispheric dominance is a cognitive style based on the differential ability to use the capabilities of the right or the left hemisphere. Subjects, classified as either right or left dominant, performed a discriminative reaction time task that involved a memory component. The two groups were shown to differ on processing speed and encoding strategies. © 1979, The Psychonomic Society, Inc.. All rights reserved.
