Abstract

The 25th Anglo-Danish-Dutch Diabetes Group (ADDDG) meeting was held in Denmark in the beautiful City of Elsinore on the north coast of Zealand (8-11 May 2007). The ADDDG was founded in 1982 by Edwin Gale (UK), Torsten Lauritzen (Denmark) and Stig Pramming (Denmark). This Anglo-Danish Group was, shortly after its foundation, joined by the Dutch. The aim of the yearly meeting is to afford an opportunity for young researchers in the field of diabetes to present their work in an informal atmosphere, and to provide a forum in which a lively discussion can take place on a wide array of topics.
