Abstract
In the pisciculture the parasitic infections can cause problems, aggravated when the fishes are kept in few spaces and in high density. With the objective of to determine the prevalence and the intensity of parasitofaune in Oncorhynchus mykiss, were analyzed 120 copies of rainbow trout, between April and September of 2018. Was made analyze by visual inspection, mucus scraping and extraction of the gill arches. In the evisceration process the intestine, liver and kidney were separated. The material was harvested and conserved in buffered formaldehyde10%, and taken to the laboratory of parasitology and parasitic diseases, of the Agroveterinary Science Center (CAV) of State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) to manufacture of sheets and identification of parasites. In the analyze of acraping of body mucus parasites were found. The others analyzed organs and tissues did not contain parasite. Were identified copies of the Trichodina genre in 34 of the 120 analyzed fishes, in two pigtails, resulting in na average of 28,3% (34/120). Analyzing the monthly data, in May and June were observed 17 parasitized animals in each one of the months, resulting in a prevalence of 85% to each monte. In total, 144 copies of trixhodinídeos were observed. The geral intensity was 4,24 parasites per parasitized fish (144/34). The monthly datas revealed 88 and 56 copies of Trichodina spp in May and June, respectively. The intensity in the month was 5,17% to May and 3,29% to June. Don't was identified characteristics lesions of infection by protozoa.
