Abstract
Growing demand of internet of things(Iot) by making things interconnected in a smarter, autonomous and distributed manner. However cloud computing are far away from iot applications .Real time workload decisions based on actual latency and radio frequency congestion .but low latency cannot be achieved by using centralized cloud.so an emerging area that resolves the need of localized computing called mobile Edge computing (MEC).This will reduce the movement of massive amount of data generated by IOT devices to reduce cost and enable efficient use of resources. This paper analyzes on various latency reduction techniques in mobile computing environment and fog network. thus the data availability,power computation and other parameters are considered and compared which gives better results to reduce the latency.
