Abstract

Bioanalysis is a chemical analysis used to determine the levels of xenobiotic substances and biotic substances in biological systems. In the pharmaceutical world, bioanalysis plays a role in the development of new drugs, monitoring drug therapy, and also bioequivalence. The bioanalytic research that will be discussed in this journal is about the analysis of dolutegravir in urine, saliva (saliva), and blood plasma samples. The technique used can detect the content of dolutegravir in urine, saliva, and blood plasma. The purpose of this study was to observe the presence of dolutegravir using various methods in various biological samples, namely blood plasma, saliva, and urine. The method used in making this article review is the collection of literature from existing journal sources relating to the analysis of dolutegravir on biological samples sourced from google, google scholar, and e-books using the keywords "dolutegravir", "bioanalysis", "blood ”, “urine”, and “saliva” in a literature search. Further search can be seen manually in writing a bibliography. The results showed that the method used in the analysis of blood plasma and saliva samples was able to provide accurate results. However, the method used in urine samples is not yet accurate, so other methods are needed to get accurate results.
