Abstract

levels, possible exhaustion, group turnover, and absenteeism, all of which increase productivity. 3,4Careful evaluation and proactive measures in these areas can foster a positive and productive work environment that supports employee engagement and retention. 5n the context of employment, job satisfaction is an essential measure of how happy workers are with their positions, regardless of how satisfied they are with particular job components or individual performance, including the nature of their work or their supervision.Extensive research has examined job satisfaction, including its relevance in self-employment and its impact on domestic workers in hospital settings.Job dissatisfaction among hospital staff is linked to high turnover rates, subpar care quality, and negative clinical outcomes, such as decreased patient compliance and patient dissatisfaction due to adverse events.The correlation between job satisfaction and reduced stress and burnout is observed among IntroductIon "A positive feeling or emotion resulting from the evaluation of work or learning" is the definition of job satisfaction.In assessing job satisfaction within an organization, it's crucial to consider a range of factors that collectively contribute to employees' overall contentment and motivation. 1 These multifaceted aspects encompass performance, compensation, support, recognition, and benefits.Work fulfilment can influence the behavior of employees that, in turn, influences organizational functioning.According to the theory of Existence, Relatedness, Growth (ERG), people have three sets of essential needs: existence, relatedness, and growth. 2If efforts to fulfill needs with high priority are not productive, the individual will focus on needs that initially had a lower priority, which can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction.Hence, satisfaction at work can be considered an intermediary indicator of well-being or physiological health.It is also inversely related to absenteeism, turnover in an organization, stress levels, and potential burnout, which ultimately improves productivity.Performance evaluation encompasses not only an employee's perception of their own competence but also the opportunities for growth and accomplishment within their role.Compensation, including salary, bonuses, and benefits, reflects how employees perceive the fairness of their financial rewards for their contributions.Support, in the form of training, mentorship, and access to essential resources, can significantly impact how employees view their job satisfaction. 3Furthermore, the feeling of recognition and rewards for their hard work is a driving force behind job satisfaction.Consequently, one could consider job happiness to be an indication of considerable wealth or good physical condition.On the other hand, it is also connected to stress 1,
