Abstract
Amount of PPIU in environment public that are made prospective pilgrims so selective in choosing PPIU that will use, because it's many PPIU are not have business permit, failed to depart the pilgrims, even commiting a fraud criminal. This research aims to know about promotion strategy, inhibitor factor and find solution to resolves the obstacle in increase amounts of umrah pilgrims at PT. Siar Haramain International Wisata in Medan. The research method used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. the result in this research is showing promotion strategy in increase amounts of umrah pilgrims at PT. Siar Haramain International Wisata is using difference strategy with techniques the company conveys it's product advantages and give the best service for umrah pilgrims. Promotional mixed used in increase amounts of umrah pilgrims consist to Adversiting, Sales Promotion, and Personal Selling. Inhibiting factor in the process of increase the amounts of umrah pilgrims is price competition offered is relatively more expensive than other umrah travels. Solution for resolves the obstacle is with increase the quality of human resources and grow up the positive perseption on the public that package price offered is expensive but the company give any facility and the best quality service.
