Abstract

The article discusses the challenges facing librarians relative to responding to the information literacy needs of Millenials, Bridgers, NextGens and GenYers. The author points out that to be able to address the needs of users, librarians should embrace technology that can be used in the academic profession. She also emphasizes the role of librarians to help users on the importance of researching a topic, which sources to trust and which databases are more appropriate for specific topics. She further mentions the significance of collaboration between librarians and users to allow the former to meet the evolving information needs of users.
