Abstract
The pandemic changed human life and social patterns. many companies that have been affected, although indirectly, still have to adjust their human resource management patterns. Human resources are important factors in a company to achieve the goals, because human resources leads the determining factors for the success of a company. Employee performance has a several contribution to the development and sustainable of a company. The individual performance of an employee can influence by skill competency and work motivation factors. This research was arranged based on theoretical analysis as well as empirical studies. The research aims to define a new structured concept about the relationship between competency variables, training needs, and employee performance. Individual performance is the result of efforts achieved by a person or group who work in a company and as an employee will play a role as determinant factors of achieving organizational goals. Individual competence leads to the employee’s deep and inherent personality. Training that makes an employee use their abilities to complete the works. The result of this research is to produce a conceptual model that can be used by companies with different types such as state owned enterprise, manufacture, service organization, and small medium enterprise. It is hope that this conceptual model also anticipates changes in paradigms and patterns in managing human resources after the pandemic era.
