Abstract
In this paper, the slip effects are analyzed on the oscillatory oblique stagnation point flow of MHD nanofluid. Three different nanoparticle namely Copper (Cu), Alumina (Al2O3) and Titania (TiO2)) are compared considering water as a base fluid. Mathematical equations are developed under the effect of inclined magnetic field and slip effect. Similarity transformations are used to convert the governing partial differential equations to a system of highly nonlinear-coupled ordinary differential equations. The reduced coupled system of differential equation is solved numerically using BVP solution method in Maple software and shooting technique with fifth order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method. The effects of various emerging parameters on the flow characteristics are displayed graphically and discussed quantitatively. It is observed that the Cu as a nanoparticles can greatly enhance the magnetic susceptibility of nanofluid as compared to Al2O3 and TiO2 nanoparticles.
