Abstract

This research was begin from the students’ ability of understanding the concept of mathematics was still low. The lack of students’ understanding of the concept of mathematics caused the learning equipment to support students’ understanding of the mathematics concept and their activities was not available yet. The learning process did not support the student’s activities yet and not able to help the students to built and develop their knowledge to find the prinsiple/procedure of mathematics by theirself. The objective of this research was to reveal the process of the development lesson plan and students’ worksheetbased on the valid, practical and effective constructivism approachment in improving the students’ ability to understanding the concept of mathematics and their activities in eleventh grade of senior high school. This research was using Plomp model development. The model development of Plomp consist of three phase namely initial investigation phase, development prototype phase and assessment phase. Based on the development had done, the research obtained that lesson plan and students’ worksheet based on the valid, practical and effective constructivism approachment to eleventh grade of senior high school.
