This subpopulation is welleducated and can affect lifestyle attitudes of students. The informed consent was obtained from all participants. Information on antihypertensive medication was collected. All subjects were interviewed with special questionnaire, which included personal data, life style risk factors, and medical history. Blood pressure (BP) was measured on right arm in the sitting position after 5- minute rest by automatic tonometer OMRON (Japan). Population sample data were obtained in large cross-sectional multicenter population-based study called ?Epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases and its risk factors in some regions of the Russian Federation? which included 12 regions of Russia. Population sample included 15300 participants - 25-64 years old males and females. Results: Results are presented in Table.
