After Stroke Movement Impairments: A Review of Current Technologies for Rehabilitation

Abstract

This chapter presents a review of the rehabilitation technologies for people who have suf- fered a stroke, comparing and analyzing the impact that these technologies have on their recovery in the short and long term. The problematic is presented, and motor impair- ments for upper and lower limbs are characterized.
