Abstract

Moral and character education in context nowadays is truly relevant to encounter moral degradations in our country. The crisis occurred because of learning process teach the moral education and life's attitude textually and not prepared well the students to confront the contradictive life. Therefore, researcher fascinated to analyze one of Islamic classic book Al-Khasais Al-'Ammah lil Islam wrote by Yusuf Al-Qardhawi. This research is descriptive qualitative by library research. Writer applies the documentation technique to collect the data by reading the book Al-Khasais Al-'Ammah lil Islam and analyzing the secondary data using analyzing descriptive method. Based on data analysis, researcher found in Al-Khasais Al-'Ammah lil Islam book that there are seven character education values: Ar-Rabbaniyyah, Al-Insaniyyah, As-Syumul, Al-Wasathiah, Al-Waqi'iyyah, Al-Wuduh, dan Al-Jam'u Baina As-Sabat Wal-Murunah. These values was became character education pillars according to Yusuf Al-Qardawi's concept. The aim of Yusuf Al-Qardhawi's education concepts is became the best human to relate with Allah and another human in daily life by teaching the value of worship.
