Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) has emerged as a power to transform academic writing courses, especially in the English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) field, offering innovative tools and methodologies that can reshape pedagogical practices. Through a comprehensive exploration, this paper discusses the development of GAI technologies, their applications in natural language processing, and their potential to revolutionize academic writing support.
