Festivais de ginástica no mundo e no Brasil: reflexões gerais

Abstract

Resumo Os festivais ginásticos consistem em eventos majoritariamente não-competitivos, em que possibilidades gímnicas são apresentadas visando o congraçamento e o intercâmbio entre os praticantes. Este trabalho apresenta alguns dos principais festivais internacionais e nacionais, destacando aspectos relevantes de sua organização, periodicidade e contribuição para a manutenção da tradição gímnica. Por fim, tratamos de esboçar alguns apontamentos para consolidar um festival nacional que seja alicerçado e apoiado pelas diferentes federações, consolide identidade nacional e fomente a prática efetiva da ginástica.Abstract The gymnastic festivals are consisted of predominantly non-competitive events, on which several gymnastics possibilities are displayed aiming at fellowship and exchanges between practitioners. The objective of this study is to present some of the top national and international festivals, highlighting relevant aspects of their organizations, frequency and contribution to the maintenance of gymnastic tradition. Finally, we try to sketch some points to consolidate a national festival that would be supported by the different federations, consolidating national identity and promoting the effective gymnastics practice.
