Importance of the formation of environmental consciousness of the personnel for the development of eco-technologies in the hotel enterprise

Abstract

The study focuses on the consideration of the formation methods of ecological consciousness of employees of the hotel enterprise. It is noted that the formation of environmental awareness among the staff is a priority in the implementation of ecotechnologies in the hotel, as they are able to significantly affect the effectiveness of their implementation. The survey shows that a significant part of the staff is not ready to sacrifice their comfort and change the time-fixed sequence of duties for the sake of the implementation of environmental policy. In this regard, a number of recommendations on possible formation methods of ecological consciousness in the management and line staff of hotels. The results of the study may be useful for practical application in hotels planning to implement or introduce eco-technologies.
