Abstract

Ihis article presents a didactic activity developed in the university classroom within the framework of Inquiry-Based Learning. In this activity, students of the faculty and the degree in physical sciences generated new questions and hypotheses using an experimental design already built: an ultrasound acoustic interferometer. Ihe results of two groups of students who took the device and modified its original design are shown. Ihis work summarizes the theoretical and methodological resources used in wave physics laboratory classes with low-cost materials. It was also taken into account in the design of this activity to train students in the skills of their career.
