In this paper, a method of reducing horizontal crosstalk artifacts due to the coupling effect of data lines and ELVDD electrodes in each pixel of a mobile active matrix OLED display is proposed. In order to achieve this, this paper presents a method for calculating the compensation value through modeling that reflects the ELVDD coupling characteristics. The calculation is applied to find the exact amount of data transition and is controlled by the position of the pixel and the data coupling period. The experimental results show that the proposed method reduces the crosstalk artifact of the horizontal line luminance deviation from 11% to 2%.
