“Sing Penting Keroncong” Sebuah Inovasi Pertunjukkan Musik Keroncong di Semarang

Abstract

Kroncong is growing and developing very well in Semarang, it can be shown by the live Kroncong music performances that are routinely held once a week by several Kroncong communities, one of which is "Sing Penting Kroncong" event organized by "De Waunk" community. This article describes the innovation of the Kroncong performances entitled "Sing Penting Kroncong" in Semarang. Based on the results of the study, the innovations made in the "Sing Penting Kroncong" performances were in its performances "Sing Penting Kroncong" using a representative stage system supported by spectacular decorations, lighting, sound systems. This program was broadcast live by RRI Semarang and interactive, where listeners can request the desired song and also live streaming via youtube. The form performance is not Kroncong pakem which only consists of seven main musical instruments, namely Bass, Cello, Cuk, Cak, Flute, and Violin alone, but there are several forms of performances, namely Kroncong Jazz (Cong Jazz).
